Stationary 80kg Dry Ice Blasting Machine with 2.5m3/Min Vortex Airflow & 900mm Working Height for Aerospace Component Coating Preparation

Product Description
What is dry ice?
Dry ice is the solid form of carbon dioxide (CO2), appearing as a pristine white substance at a chilling -78.5 ºC. It's crafted through a fascinating process where CO2 is first condensed into a colorless liquid under a pressure of 62.50 bar. This liquid then undergoes a magical transformation, rapidly solidifying through a process of throttling and depressurization, resulting in the dry ice we know.
Physical properties: Characterized by its crystalline white appearance, dry ice sublimates effortlessly at room temperature with an impressive heat of vaporization. As it transitions from solid to gas at atmospheric pressure, it cools its surroundings swiftly. This cooling effect causes dry ice to liquefy any moisture in the air, adding to its unique properties.
The visible white smoke is actually steam-minute water vapor droplets or ice crystals bind with airborne dust, creating this fascinating effect. At its heart, dry ice is a simple cubic crystal, classified as a molecular crystal, with each structure formed by individual carbon dioxide molecules.
These molecules are meticulously arranged, with dry ice crystals stacking in various orientations at the vertices and centers of a cube, forming a stable structure.
Chemical properties: Dry ice is a marvel of nature, exhibiting chemical stability. It is odorless, non-toxic, and does not support combustion, making it incredibly safe for various uses. However, an excess of carbon dioxide in the air can irritate the respiratory system-leading to hyperventilation and potential suffocation risks.
(i.e., hypoxia). Carbon dioxide boasts high thermal stability, only decomposing slightly (1.8%) even at 2000 ºC. As an acidic oxide, dry ice reacts with water to form carbonic acid, showcasing its chemical versatility.

How is dry ice made?
The creation of dry ice begins with the extraction of liquid carbon dioxide from a storage tank. This liquid is then gracefully sprayed into the ice pressing chamber of a dry ice machine. As it moves through a nozzle, it throttles, producing a flurry of gaseous carbon dioxide and enchanting snowflake-like dry ice solids.
Once a sufficient amount of solid dry ice is accumulated, the machine's hydraulic system springs into action. The piston compresses these snowflakes into compact dry ice cubes, which are then elegantly extruded from the die end. At this stage, a rotating blade comes alive, slicing the elongated dry ice into perfect pieces.

These are the dry ice pellets, meticulously crafted to the required length for diverse applications.
There are three main principles of dry ice cleaning:
Energy transfer: As dry ice particles collide with the surface to be cleaned at high speed, they transfer kinetic energy and undergo rapid heat exchange. This causes them to sublime instantly, while the dirt cools rapidly, contracts, and becomes brittle.
This results in the dirt being efficiently washed away.
Low temperature cracking: When two materials with different thermal expansion coefficients interact, the temperature difference disrupts their bond. Dry ice pellets at -78.5 ºC impact the target surface, freezing the dirt until it becomes brittle.
This leads to cracking and bursting, weakening the dirt's mechanical grip, which ultimately causes it to detach.
Micro explosion: When dry ice particles penetrate dirt crevices, they sublime in milliseconds, expanding their volume dramatically by 600-800 times. This rapid expansion effectively peels the dirt away from the surface.

Brief explanation of the industry application of dry ice cleaning
Dry ice cleaning stands out as a versatile solution for removing stubborn surface stains from metals, molds, production equipment, and even ancient artifacts. Its non-invasive technique eliminates the need for mold chilling or disassembly, protecting against corrosion and chemical cleaning damage.
Unlike mechanical cleaning methods, which risk scratching and reducing mold precision due to repeated handling, dry ice cleaning is gentle yet powerful. Here are some compelling examples:
1.Petrochemical Industry: Revolutionize your cleaning process with dry ice technology! Swiftly and efficiently remove rust and dust from vital equipment such as main fans, air compressors, exhaust fans, steam turbines, and blowers. Remarkably, this advanced technique doesn't require blade removal or recalibration, ensuring seamless dynamic leveling.
Transformative Cleaning Steps: Effortlessly eliminate coking from various heating furnaces and reactors while maintaining unmatched efficiency. Tackle stubborn polyvinyl chloride resin on heat exchangers with ease. Experience the superior power of dry ice cleaning as it vanquishes oil and rust stains from complex machinery, including compressors, storage tanks, boilers, reactors, and condensers.
And pesky dust, ensuring a pristine environment.
2.Power System: Breakthrough dry ice technology allows for direct cleaning of indoor and outdoor transformers, insulators, distribution cabinets, and even live wires and cables (up to 37 kV), without compromising safety. Preserve the integrity of generators, motors, rotors, stators, and other components as this method cleans without a trace of damage.
3.Food Production: Achieve immaculate results by removing stubborn baking residues, gelatinous substances, and oil stains before products hit the oven. Dry ice cleaning excels in sanitizing ovens, mixing and stirring equipment, conveyor belts, molded products,
packaging equipment, furnace racks, furnace plates, containers, rollers, inner refrigerator walls, and biscuit grates, ensuring pristine cleanliness throughout your food production line.
4.Automotive and Shipping Industry: Embrace a new era of cleanliness with dry ice technology! Without leaving behind water residue, effectively clean car door covers, canopies, carriages, and bottoms. Banish oil stains, carbon deposits, and paint from vehicles and ships in record time, saving precious hours and reducing costs significantly.
Remarkable Efficiency: Forget the traditional 48-hour wait with harmful chemicals! Dry ice cleaning eradicates carbon deposits in just 10 minutes, achieving an astounding descaling rate of up to 100%.
Restore the ship's pristine condition by cleaning hulls, seawater intake valves, seawater condensers, heat exchangers, engine rooms, and mechanical and electrical components effortlessly.
5.Aerospace Field: Prepare for optimal performance in missile and aircraft production with pre-painting and assembly processes. Seamlessly remove paint from composite molds and aircraft surfaces. Keep engines and landing gear compartments in top condition with precision dry ice cleaning, dramatically saving time and enhancing maintenance protocols.
Jet Engine Conversion System: Work directly on aircraft bodies, conserving valuable time and elevating performance standards.
6.Printing Industry: Elevate the quality of printed products with dry ice cleaning. Effortlessly eliminate oil-based and water-based inks, varnishes, and stubborn ink deposits from gears, rails, and nozzles, preserving equipment integrity and ensuring vibrant print quality.
Ensure your printing equipment remains pristine, wear-free, and ready for any challenge.
Cultural Relic Cleaning: Protect and preserve priceless artifacts with pioneering dry ice technology. Efficiently remove pollutants such as soil, soluble salts, mold, and sedimentary films from cultural relic surfaces, surpassing traditional methods in both efficiency and environmental friendliness.

Enhance cleaning efficiency and quality while prioritizing the health of workers and the sustainability of the environment.
