High-Capacity 0-1.0kg/Min Dry Ice Pellet System with 15kg Frost-Free Hopper & 0.6-1.0MPa Turbo Pressure for Ship Hull Rust Removal Operations

Product Description
What is dry ice?
Dry ice is a pristine white solid form of carbon dioxide (CO2) that exists at a chilling -78.5 ºC. Typically, it is derived from a colorless liquid that condenses under a high pressure of 62.50 bar and is swiftly transformed into a solid state through a precise process of throttling and depressurization.
Physical Properties: As a white crystalline substance, dry ice sublimates rapidly at room temperature, boasting a high heat of vaporization. This characteristic allows it to significantly decrease ambient temperatures when it sublimates in atmospheric conditions. During this process, it can cause water vapor in the air to condense and even further solidify.
The ethereal 'steam' you see is composed of water vapor droplets or tiny ice crystals clinging to dust in the air, creating the visible white smoke. Dry ice's cubic crystal structure is simple yet elegant, and it forms part of molecular crystals, consisting of individual carbon dioxide molecules.
These dry ice crystals are meticulously arranged, stacking in diverse orientations at both vertices and centers of the cube, creating a unique structural formation.
Chemical Properties: Dry ice is renowned for its chemical stability-it is odorless, non-toxic, non-flammable, and does not support combustion. However, elevated carbon dioxide levels in the air can irritate the respiratory system, potentially accelerating breathing and posing a risk of suffocation.
This condition, known as hypoxia, highlights the importance of ventilation. Carbon dioxide exhibits remarkable thermal stability, with only 1.8% decomposition at a scorching 2000 ºC. As an acidic oxide, it reacts with water to yield carbonic acid, showcasing its versatile chemical nature.

How is dry ice made?
In the dry ice production process, liquid carbon dioxide is drawn from a storage tank and injected into the ice chamber within the dry ice machine. The rapid throttling through a nozzle generates a large volume of gas, creating carbon dioxide snowflakes that form solid dry ice.
Once a sufficient amount accumulates, the state-of-the-art hydraulic system springs into action, compressing these snowflake-shaped dry ices into solid blocks. These are then ejected from the machine's die end, where a rotating blade shatters them into smaller, manageable pieces.

Resulting in dry ice pellets of the desired length, precisely tailored for various applications and needs.
There are three main principles of dry ice cleaning:
1. Energy Transfer: At high velocity, dry ice particles make contact with surfaces, depleting kinetic energy through impact. The rapid heat transfer causes the dry ice to sublime instantly. This sudden cooling and contracting of dirt make it brittle and easily removable.
Leaving surfaces impeccably clean as the dirt is washed away.
2. Low Temperature Cracking: With differing thermal expansion coefficients, the temperature variance between materials fractures the bond between them. Dry ice pellets at -78.5 ºC freeze contaminants until they are brittle.
Subsequently, this causes cracks that degrade the mechanical integrity of the attached grime, facilitating its removal.
3. Micro Explosion: When dry ice particles penetrate dirt crevices, they sublimate in milliseconds, expanding 600-800 times in volume. This explosive growth detaches dirt effortlessly from the object's surface.

Cleaning Method and Working Principle of CHIRUI Pellet Dry Ice Cleaning
Our unique technology works similarly to sandblasting with steel sand, glass sand, plastic sand, or baking soda. The dry ice blasting medium propels particles accelerated by high-pressure air towards the surface to be cleaned. What sets dry ice cleaning apart is
that the dry ice particles vaporize instantly upon impact, causing a significant momentum shift. This rapid heat exchange between the dry ice particles and the cleaning surface
leads to solid CO2 sublimating quickly into gas. This causes the dry ice particles to expand nearly 800 times in volume within milliseconds, resulting in a 'micro explosion' at the impact point. Thanks to the volatility of CO2,
